...A Data Scientist and Product Manager who likes to find correlations and patterns in the way things function.

My Story: Two years ago I cashed in on some of my bitcoin to bootstrap the biggest challenge of my life - learning how to code math! aka Data Science. And went from quitting everyday in the start to seamlessly writing 10s of 1000s of lines of code. In doing so, I annihilated my biggest competitor - my own mind! I then spent some more of that bitcoin money on purchasing some heavy duty computing space on the cloud. I now use that cloud space to run my Machine Learning code and bring to you MY WEBSITE - An anthology of recommendation engines, predictive models and data visualizations! Scroll down!

About Me

Hi I'm Addy, a Data Scientist and Product Manager, with an MBA from University of Ottawa Canada. Before that, I led a tech-sales team at The Sales Factory in Toronto, Canada, selling SaaS products to companies on the East Coast in the USA.

Product - After the MBA (Data and Product Ops), I've consulted on product teams using statistical tools like hypothesis testing to validate the impact on the product roadmap by conducting primary research.

Marketing - I've worked on marketing campaigns for Red Bull, Marvel Studios, Disney, and Marriott Hotels to understand what sells!

Data Visualization - I've incorporated a feedback loop based on user testing on launched features and reported performance analytics using Data Visualization tools - Tableau/PowerBI.

Math, Stats and Algos - I've also used statistical tools and propensity models like (Regression models, Ensemble Learning (Decision Trees)) to predict user behaviour, conducted A/B testing to check against actuals, and incorporated the same into feature iterations.

The Data Science + Coding journey

After selling and creating product roadmaps for these companies I was interested in digging deeper into how the numbers behind these tech products create the product that is! I started coding and building my own algos and used bootstrapped data available across government websites and data aggregators.

Used ALL the learnings from the yester-years to build this website from scratch including the backend python code, the Django API interface, the cloud servers that help run these algos and the frontend HTML + CSS.
